Frequently asked questions

The questions owners ask us before they switch.

Who's behind Seekoo?

Pure Digits Inc. Our founder spent 20 years building CRM and ERP systems, including at HP, EY and SAP. When you call, you reach the people who build it.

What happens to my data if you go out of business?

Your data is yours by contract and you can export all of it at any time. If we ever stop supporting Seekoo, the source code held on GitHub is released to you, so the system can keep running.

Can my accountant keep using QuickBooks?

Yes. Seekoo syncs invoices, payments, bills and a daily inventory entry to QuickBooks Online, and your accountant gets a free read-only login. Seekoo does not sync with QuickBooks Desktop.

How long does switching take?

We plan it with you. Your data is imported and checked while the old system keeps running; the switch itself is set for a quiet day, often a weekend, with us on call.

Will my staff find it hard to learn?

They only see the modules you've turned on, so there's less to learn. The screens are in English and Chinese, and we train your team remotely or on site.

What will I pay after the first year?

The list price shown on the pricing page — for example, Standard is $249 a month in year one and $349 a month from year two, billed annually for 5 users. That list price is locked for 3 years.

Can it run on our own server, or without internet?

Yes. Seekoo can run on a server at your shop on your local network, at the same price as hosting. Fully offline sites run on a license file — contact us to set it up.

Is there a limit on orders or items?

No. Orders, items, customers and history are never capped, never metered and never archived away. You pay by edition and number of users.

What if I need something Seekoo doesn't do?

That's the last 10%, and we build it. We estimate at $149 an hour and give you a fixed price up front; you pay the quote, not the clock.

What can the AI assistant do, and can it change things on its own?

Ask it how to do something or about your data — stock, balances, where an order stands — and it answers from your records with links. It drafts quotes, orders and POs and proposes changes to records, but nothing is saved until a person confirms. It has the same permissions as the person asking, and the AI model is included in its price.

What doesn't Seekoo do?

It isn't accounting software — QuickBooks keeps the books. It doesn't connect to Shopify or Amazon, handle several companies in one system, run manufacturing work orders, or process cards at the counter. If one of these is a must for you, tell us and we'll say honestly whether we can help.
